The Camberwell Occupation took a detour on route to Thursday’s protests to take action in the Turbine Hall. Ai Weiwei’s Sunflower Seeds has been closed to the public since October due to fears of noxious ceramic dust caused by walking on the work.
Camberwell occupiers took there lives in their hands when they stepped over the knee-high barrier to unfurl banners that read “Students and Artists – Unite and Fight” and chant “We’d rather breath dust than have education cuts!”

Camberwell remains in occupation, and is open for as space to build resistance. Come visit.
